To Close

• Push door latch to the vertical position.  
• Hold the right side, close the left onto the right.  
• Lock the bottom latch if you chose.  
• Don't move the door latch, or it will open again.

To Open

• Open toe locks (bottom of each door)
• Turn latch to the horizontal position
• Pull door open.

• Please remove the blue pump from the top BEFORE opening the  Power Cover. 
• You CANNOT open the cover if there is water on it.
• The switch is to the left of the side door (single switch under a covered).  
• Please close the pool cover gently. You may leave it open during the day, but it is best to close it overnight.
• Place the pump on the cover. Put the hose in the pipe behind.  This protects the cover, by removing water.  
• There is a breaker under the tree if pump stops

Lights 

•  There is a switch for the Lights beside the Pool Cover switch
• A swim under the stars is one of our favorite things
• Please remember to shut off  before you recover the pool.

Maintenance

• Aquatic Design maintains our pool.  You may see them out back cleaning.  
• If you have an event during the day, and please let them know and we will try to schedule around you.

Shower

• There is a shower outside the back door.  

Front Closet

• Pickleball - There is a portable court
• Ball Hockey - there are sticks and balls
• Basketball - if you want to shoot some hoops, you should find a couple of balls there too

Please return all items, and let us know if there is anything missing.  If you have any suggestions, send us a note.

Temperature

• Set for 94, you can increase it with the controls, but please put it back down when you leave.

Speakers

• Speakers pop up, is easy to connect to.  Please be sure to set them back down BEFORE you close the cover, or they will break off.

Cover

• Gently open and close the cover.
• Please latch at night and during windy days, it pops open in the wind and can be damaged.

Hot Spring Salt Water Spa

• Uses a FreshWater® Salt System to help keep water clean and clear for a great hot tub experience. 

Maintenance

• Check the levels using 1 test strip
• Add 1 tbsp shock after heavy use, or chlorine level is low
• Set on "Clean" and close lid
• If you are having issues with the hot tub please reach out via Whats App or text 224-931-9103.

The fireplace is operated by remote. It is a large black remote, should be on mantle.

The Solo Stove is a smokeless fire pit.  

• There is wood in the garden area and by the court.  
• Be responsible, don't put plastic, food, garbage, cans in the pit.
• Do not put the cloth cover on hot, but do put the cloth cover on to protect it when it is cool.
• Do not use water to put out the fire.

The Fire Pit is great.

We hope you get a chance to enjoy Tanglewood. There is a wheeled wagon and chairs if you are camping on the lawn (look in the main closet in the foyer).

You can usually get lawn tickets at the door, but go early, for big shows there is a line up sometimes starting before noon, gates usually open at 4PM.  You can take food and beverages with you (but not in the covered areas, only the lawn).

Try going to Market Place Kitchen in GB and having make up a picnic basket.

Power:  We have a Generac Generator hardwired to the house.  If the power goes out you should not even notice it.  

Printer:

There is an ethernet cord, but you can also hook up via WiFi.  Please let us know if it is low on ink or paper. 

There is a Staples in Great Barrington, they can also print for you.

 GPS sometimes finds it difficult to find our home, because it is 22 acres it wants to send you to the middle of the property. 

You want to be sure you are on Goodrich Street and not Cherry Hill Road. You can enter “20 Goodrich Street” (our neighbor) into your GPS for directions, but we are 20A Goodrich Street.  

We have a blue sign out front, and a hockey rink/basketball court in the front yard.
